Mission

The Church has an ongoing Mission work both in Australia and overseas. Each community of members plays an active role in assisting local charities wherever possible. As well the Northern District supports organisations like the Bible Society, Gideons, Red Cross world relief appeals etc. At present it also sponsors a school in the poorer rural area of India and through this sponsorship hundreds of children can receive a basic education.

Since being established in Queensland successful mission work has been done that has allowed active churches to establish in South Africa and Java. A current programme is helping establish a church in the Philippines where self help projects have also been sponsored to help the welfare of the people.

Reports of these works are distributed to members via the church quarterly magazine - The Herald. Copies of recent reports printed are as follows. This magazine also serves to keep all members up to date on the happenings in the various communities and helps cement the brotherhood of members throughout the whole Church.
