Every Sunday after service our youth, aged 14 to young Marrieds without children, attend Youth School. Here They discuss religous matters affecting their lives on a more personal level with the Youth Deacons. There is also a Youth Chorus that sing hymns at festivals and during service.Throughout the year many activities are planned for the youth.
- Youth Rally: Once a year the youth will gather at a selected community over a long weekend. The youth gather from all over the state for fellowship and religous enlightment. On the Saturday there will be team games and activities organised by the Youth Deacons. Saturday night a barbecue is held for all the community followed by a concert and then the Apostle address to the youth. Our Sunday morning traditional service is then held. Sunday lunch is enjoyed by all the community and visitors. On Sunday night a special Youth service is held followed by the Apostle sermon.
- Youth Camp: Youth camps are organized every year for the youthful members of the communities. The function of these camps is to develop a better understanding on the word of God and his ways. The camp location is chosen in Queensland either on the coast or the inland, sometimes in the northern parts of the state or the southern parts of the state. After the location has been decided the invitation goes out to all the communities, then the youthful members of those communities can invite their friends to the camp.
The camps are supervised by the ministers of the church and during the camp they become advisers in explaining Gods way. The Apostle comes to the camps and every night has a discussion and question time.
The camp enables a good opportunity for the Youth Chorus to practise new hymns, which will be used for Sunday service on the final day of the camp, which is usually held at one of the nearby churches. On this day the unity that has established during the week grows more and more and everybody can feel the presence of the Holy Spirit in the words you hear preached or the words you sing to God. It is hard to hold the emotions back at this time.
- Youth Outings: Church communities throughout the year organise outings for the Youth. These outings, organised by the Youth deacons, are to such places as Theme Parks (DreamWorld), Water Parks (Wet'n'Wild), Forest Camps (Booloomba Ck), and Movie Theatres.
